Overview: This is an elegant poured wax lady, created in a crèche manner. She wears an old silk Grecian style costume with original sandals. Her original body is cloth with long poured wax limbs. She comes with her blue ribbon from the 1960 UFDC National Convention. Layaway is always an option but please contact me to discuss terms before purchase. Here are the details:
Head: She has inset blue glass eyes. Her expressive face is turned to her left and her eyes are downcast. She has a great original human hair wig. It has rows of brown beads and faux pearls interwoven through her braided up-swept hair style. Her back shoulderplate has a crack hidden under her dress. Her face is perfection with no cracking, crazing or notable wear.
Body: Her body is cloth with long perfect poured wax limbs. She feels to be straw stuffed. Her hands and feet are very elegantly modeled. Her body is almost completely covered in a stockinet fabric, so I am not able to photograph it.
Clothes: She is wearing an old silk gown that closes with pins. The silk has much wear but it still displays well. Underneath, she wears a slip with a wide ruffle, matching bloomers and a stockinet covering. Finally, she wears her original sandals that consist of a black sole held in place with ribbons crossing her feet and ankles.
