This darling little antique German bisque doll was made by Armand Marseille. She is wearing all original clothes, shoes and wig, which includes her original tag. She has perfect bisque with side-glancing blue eyes. Her original 5-piece body is in very good condition. Here are the details:
Head: Her bisque head is perfect with no damage or repairs. She has a closed, smiling “watermelon” mouth and stationary side-glancing blue eyes. She is marked Germany / 323 / A 10/0 M. She retains her original brown mohair wig. Signs of Wear: A teensy rub – very faint. Factory Imperfections: under the wig there is a single speckle and a couple of tiny paint skips.
Body: Her original 5-piece composition body is typical for this doll. It is very chunky with molded socks and shoes. I cannot photograph her body because I am afraid to damage her dress.
Clothes: She wears her all original clothing. Her dress is a brown cotton print and closes in back with tiny hook and eye closures. Over the dress she wears her apron which carries a tag that reads, Nobbikid / Reg.US.Pat.Off / Germany. She also retains her original straw bonnet. The hat has some wear around the rim. One apron tie is worn through so I have tacked the apron in place with a couple of stitches. The dress is in excellent aged condition.
